Way too often, believers draw near to God only when we're up against the wall and we're feeling desperate. Before long we hit the knees and start praying in every way we've ever even heard about!

But God wants us to draw near to Him all the time. He wants us in the good times and in the bad times. He wants us to make being close to God our lifestyle.

How does God become your lifestyle? By entering into His presence through time with Him and His Word. When we make the Lord our lifestyle, we don't even flinch when the hard times come because we have Almighty Abba watching our back. When drawing near to God is our lifestyle we have joy and peace that the world can't understand . . . but they want it. When we make our life all about the Father, there is nothing that can hurt us or destroy us.

Come to the Lord, He's calling you to enter into a life full of Him.
